One word to sum up this series is “potential” this series has HUGE potential, I could see it being a massive sci fi series, and a really really good one at that, the plot alone carries this show imo, a really interesting take on aliens and aliens invading, I really enjoyed the science scenes and then slowly figuring out how to deal with this threat. I think the best scenes were the scenes in China, which is a shame because there weren’t many. I think because the plot is interesting enough and there’s a lot happening, the writers seemed to really write boring characters, most of the main characters were quite annoying and there was nothing specific or interesting to them, I did enjoy Ye Wenjie, Clarence and Thomas Wade, they carried the show. I do think this show was good, but I can really see it being great, I don’t think Netflix will cancel this, I’ve seen them promoting it like crazy so they are really backing this, I think it’ll be popular with the general public too, not GOT level, but it’ll popular.
