Well it’s definitely better than the gossip girl reboot but still disappointing. This friend group feels very forced. I feel like the existing friendship of the original pll crew worked much better. These new girls have nothing in common but A, and it seems unrealistic that they’d all become friends so quickly. The dialogue was also questionable at times which I guess is to be expected from Roberto Aguirre Sacasa. The writers try too hard to be woke and trendy by including all these buzzwords in an attempt to appeal to the Gen Z stan twt crowd. It seems like they have no clue how teenagers actually talk in real life so they throw in a bunch of bullshit twitter lingo. Also I wish tv shows would stop trying to be politically correct because it always comes off hollow and insincere. Don’t get me started on the gossip girl reboot roping in every social issue they could possibly think of without including an ounce of substance I do like the horror and slasher elements but Tabby’s movie references got annoying very quickly. Also I feel like Karen and Kelly switched places, even though that seems too easy, but pll always pulls the cliche twin tropes. I wonder how they’re going to tie the moms and daughters storylines together.. hopefully it’s interesting and makes sense. I was bored a lot so idk if I’ll continue this. I’ll probably just wait till the whole season’s out to see who A is. (Based on episodes 1-3) Edit: The A reveal was so absurd. Idk what I was expecting from the writer of riverdale but wow I am disappointed
