I was very skeptical and put-off at first. Another handsome, chiseled face whose good looks makes his face too opaque to me AND a naive, ingenue twink getting their idealism burned with harsh reality? I thought I saw this too many times already! When I got to Episode 4, it clicked something in me that I am glad that my cynical self melted off. It made me have sympathy to Hawk who seems to get everything he desired with ease, but lost an insurmountable amount. I was invested with Marcus’s struggle of being vulnerable to show his love to Frankie as well as learning to be an elder to young bloods. And, of course, to Tim/Skippy whose faith and principles are always in conflict within, but never wavers to do the right thing.
I loved the show now that I hope everyone would watch this.
