I’m screaming and crying I will never recover from this show. I finished it the other day and I haven’t stop thinking about it since. The story has finally wrapped up and come to an end after a decade. It was a painful and beautiful ending but realistic of all the sacrifices each character had to make. 

I thought this was a good way to wrap up the story and characters. Some of the scenes that I’m still thinking about are Armin’s self loathing scene where he is yelling at himself about hating himself and being worthless. It was so brutal to watch. It was so gut wrenching but really resonated with me. God I love Armin so much. He definitely had some of the best moments in the finale. 

The scene with Levi crying after they had won and he sees his fallen comrades. I absolutely lost it. He was the only one who survived out of all his past comrades. He has lost everyone but glad he finally got to fulfill his promise to Erwin. I’m not okay 😭

EREN! Man literally wiped out 80% of humanity when he said that my mouth fell open. Eren is such a tragic character it’s heartbreaking. Eren's confession about not wanting to die and to be with Mikasa at the end to Armin made me cry so hard. I wish he would have just run away with Mikasa fr 😖

When we finally see what Eren was thinking after Armin and Mikasa get their memories back it broke me. Erens whole talk with Armin was incredible. “ I’ll be waiting for you in hell.” 😫That so painful to see and finally understand what Eren was thinking after his death. (One thing I’m confused though is how did Eren erase Mikasa’s memories if she’s an Ackerman and cannot be influenced by the founding titan?) 

“Thank you for wrapping this scarf around me Eren.” The fact that Mikasa kept wearing his scarf and even got buried with it.  Even after Eren told her to stop wearing it after he was gone. Mikasa loved Eren so much 😭

The post credits scene really took then ending to another level for me. All the emotions we went through all the pain and suffering that we watched throughout the whole show. All the death Eren brought for his friends to live “peaceful” lives for history to repeat itself. Ngl tho still glad the gang got to live long lives and that’s kind of the whole point. Eren wanted to carve out a small piece of “peace” for his friends even though he knows through the past and future events humanity will always bring violence.

Zeke whole speech really hit. Life will adapt and find survive through the violence. Everything Eren did all that and still the titans will be reborn. No matter who the victor in the war. Humanity will repeat history and the cycle will never end. 

Still I was not expecting the boy and the tree scene at the end. I was shocked. I think it is such a good final scene to end the show. One final plot twist to send us off with after a show with plot twist after plot twist. This show will definitely stick with me and I’m glad I got to experience. It’s for sure one the best shows I have ever watched. ❤️
