A show that glorifies a film that laments the tragedy of destruction and genocide yet contains not a single call to action from its filmmakers on an ongoing genocide, a show where one can freely talk about Ukraine but has to tiptoe around Palestine, a show where white people steal from an Indigenous woman—an awards show that perfectly represents Hollywood and America.

We're not dissing Emma Stone like she didn't have the greatest performance to win Best Actress since Charlize Theron.

Everyone in the industry watched and seem to like Oppenheimer that’s why it won. This is a tremendously awful take that has nothing to do with the movie and real world events and a filmmakers can choose what and what not to comment on. It doesn’t make them or their movies lesser.
