“Calls it my fortress of solitude…” 😭😭😭 The dialogue is fucking hilarious and something you’d see in a modern comic book movie that’s ashamed of being campy and silly while saying shit like that ironically, but this show legitimately DOES it unironically… and so often too, my mind is blown. I really like how many references and crumbs they’re leaving in regards to Clark eventually donning the cape; like that fortress of solitude line, the colors on his clothes—with the blue shirt and the red backpack signifying his cape, etc, it’s oddly satisfying and so silly but in a GOOD way. Needle drops go needlessly hard too, I’m in love with the vibe this show emits. Lex is the ultimate wingman 💚
