Gosh, the romance in this one really washes over me with every watch.

Yes, I have an addiction to this show. No, I will not stop watching it. 

I will never forget my first time watching this masterpiece. It was 11PM, I thought 'it's the middle of the season', it'll probably be a standard building block into the larger mystery and I'll watch one before bed. Then... well... THIS happened. I sat there in bewildered silence, utterly captivated by the 60 minutes of story telling that had just been presented to me. My jaw wasn't just dropped, it was on the ground. This is Westworld's masterclass twist, my favorite in TV history. Just... MAN.

Great art causes a visceral reaction out of you and no more is this the truth than in "Generation Loss". From the 'Fidelity' line drop as Caleb opens his shirt and repeats "I'm me!" to Hale telling him that it was 'time for a new narrative', I almost had a panic attack on first watch. Just remember the satisfaction you feel as a viewer for sticking with this series and a great twist like this being delivered. Hale didn't just win, you did too.

Almost indescribable to put across in words my adoration for this episode. The scene in which Dolores (or "Christiana" as she's dubbed herself in this reality) and Teddy reunite is so beautifully written and wonderfully performed, it almost brings me to tears by itself. It's a genuine crime that we'll never see a fifth season, the level of chemistry Evan Rachel Wood and James Marsden share has been one of the show's biggest strengths. Pair that with Thandiwe Newton and Aaron Paul, and the gorgeous speech she delivers about her love for him, enough to leave him to live his own life for the first time. "I wanted you to do more than fight to survive. I wanted you to have something to fight for...", the emotion in this episode is breathtaking, it makes me cry every time.

Ramin's score as Maeve mouths to Caleb "See you in the next life, darling" is one of the best tracks of music I've ever heard in my life. When that explosion hits and all hope becomes lost, as Caleb stares out into the desert, believing that Maeve's sacrifice held weight to stop Hale, but it was all for nothing devastates me. They've already lost, and the world's gone. "Frankie will not grow up in a world controlled by you..." with the cut to Aurora Perrineau's older version of the character is spine tingling. That's just the first of the revelations the episode throws at you. 

"I'm sorry, C. There is a body. But it's not your father's. Caleb isn't here. But that weapon I promised you is...", the slow zoom out as Bernard uncovers Maeve is fucking INCREDIBLE. I'm sorry, but HOW DOES THIS ONLY HAVE A 4.20 RATING ON HERE?! ARE YOU PEOPLE INSANE?!?!? The cut back to Aaron Paul running through Olympiad Entertainment and the tower's impending sounds stopping humanity in their tracks, I'm afraid nothing I'll watch again will hold this level of 'jaw drop' quality. "Do you understand now, Caleb?" "You won.." 

That gorgeous slow pan to Hale's tower, centered in a maze like pattern, it just leaves me speechless... The best episode of television for the 2020s so far, and I don't see it getting topped.
