Game of Thrones is the best written best executed live action fantasy show of its time.

In my opinion no other show compares in cinematography, filming locations, cgi, score, and anti-plot armor (for the most part). The sheer level of commitment to the quality of the show is what makes it so great. 

Ramin Djawadi was the best choice the directors made for the entire show. He is truly a musical genius and I don’t think any other tv or movie score is better produced than Game of Thrones. His musical themes are spot on to the themes presented in the show and the emotion that comes with it when put together is phenomenal. I still get goosebumps when I hear the stark theme.

Game of thrones also has the best season stretch of greatness that I’ve ever witnessed; s2-s4 were perfect.
With that being said, it was really upsetting that it got worse towards the end. I think the directors honestly should taken more time in between season 6-8 to develop a better plot since they had nothing to base it on. I know fans would’ve been upset at the time but this would have made the final seasons much better.

This show and its characters will forever be in my heart and it is truly one of the greats and one of my favorite shows.
