Here's my thing. If you make a remake of something, it should be significantly better than its source material. I make an exception for video game adaptations, as they bring a story to a new audience (perhaps one who doesn't have access to video games). But everyone already has access to the ATLA animation. And this live-action is just the plot points from the original show chopped up and randomly mashed together, ending in a product that is less interesting than the original show. The CGI is good, great even, but this did not need to exist.
