so far i’ve been treating this as an ATLA “inspired” show since it’s a completely different medium so obviously it won’t directly translate. however, this episode was so disappointing for some reason? what happened to “show not tell”? it’s like they feel the need to constantly tell us what is happening and how to feel instead of letting the viewer connect the dots. also i’m not sure how i feel about aang :/ i get that this show is more serious but where’s the silly rebellious 12 year old? it’s an enjoyable show don’t get me wrong! but definitely weak in many aspects. they had so much to work with!! hopefully it picks up from here
