It’s really crazy rewatching this show for the first time in years, I forgot about so much that happened and it’s just really fun experiencing this everything again. I think season 2 is a massive improvement on the already great season 1 in pretty much every way, it handles both the comedic and dramatic episodes a lot better and manages to avoid some of the awkwardness found in the early season 1 episodes. This is truly Beast boy’s season to shine and while he was never my favorite character as a kid or even now his relationship with Terra is really sweet and engaging and the eventual downfall of it is just so good and lead to the best moments of the season.
