Me: I am here for the plot The plot in question: Daniel Dae Kim *dreamy eyes* I am not the target audience, but I needed something light, so here we are. I appreciate this is a cult show for many, but these are my rumbling thoughts, don’t come for me I am noob. I am writing this half way through the series, so far it feels there is a lot of lore I am missing, yet at the same time they are introducing loads of “new*” characters. Everyhting feels too rushed? It has been really difficult to stay engaged. As the story progresses (I am on episode six) the Prince Zuko and Uncle Iroh flashbacks become some of the best character building here. In the end I didn’t care for any of it. Paul Sun-Hyung Lee as Uncle Iroh is all I care about. He is defenetly a cutie, would love to have a spin off with him in a lifestyle kind of vlogging format where he shows us around the world and everything there is to eat and enjoy. And since cabbage guy is another personal fave, they should partner up. Uncle Iroh: Parts Unknown. Another idea for a spin off, we follow Sokka on his quest to date all the cute girls (and boys?) he has the hots for. Highly educational. This is spoilers so be advised. Loved the Godzilla tribute. CGI and fights are a little “amateur hour” for me. Costumes also felt quite cheap. Some of the casting questionable. Dialogue and writing in general awful at times. There is some good acting but some very bad too. OG Airbenders what do you reckon? Am I beeing too harsh here? *to me
