What a finale , honestly one of the best I’ve seen. Such amazingly written everything tbh the characters, story all of it is so amazingly well written. Every episode has such great pacing and together feels like a long ass film that actually pays to its benfit . The characters have such what should be hatable personalities but also such great redeeming qualities that also plays into the main dynamic which is incredibly strong. The antagonist is also extremely good for the little screen time , it gives me se7en vibes in the way we don’t see him but we more so feel him in the reactions of other people to his acts. The final show down was amazing it was more then some action is felt like some battle in rustles philosophy which added to the pay off and a little change in the way rustle looks that things. It’s also great to watch something too do with detectives where they aren’t dumb asf rustle and Marty are very smart but go around things in very different ways. They are both triggered by different things and show it differently. They are both largely triggered by harm against children which is shown to deeply affected them as they both relate to having children, we see Marty many times be inraged by this as he’s ; left the job , impulsively kill a man , be sickened by the children clothes which in away makes him some what redeemable for a lot of the shit he does , bc it’s very human to hate people that harm innocent beings . Rustle is a lot more subtle about this as he barely lets anyone see his true emotions over then the audience now and then , but when interrogating the women Who killed her child , he tells to kill herself. The ending was fabulous the final pay off between are two characters felt earned , but like rustle said “this is a world where nothing is solved “ which is kinda true in a sense they didn’t get every one , the powerful that influenced everything are free to repeat it all again. But the final bit of dialogue was truly brilliant and was a great conclusion. “Well once there was only dark but if you ask me the lights winning “ Top 10 dynamic Top 5 show Top 5 conclusion Rustle is definitely a top 5 protagonist 10/10 show .
