Oh why can’t they just cancel this show already! They struck gold with season 1 and that was a decade ago. It’s not gonna happen again and this season proved it. I had high hope but this season legit left me feeling nothing. Not in an existential way just in the idgaf way. No one had any character development and whole plot lines were forgotten. In the span of SIX EPISODES!!!! Why did they even add that boy officer? He legit didn’t do shit and didn’t do shit at the end either. Oh he killed his dad, I wonder how they’ll show him come to accepting those circums- oh he just doesn’t give a shit and it’s forgotten about next episode? Ok 👍. Same thing with his girlfriend hating him. They really grabbed onto the connections to season 1 for dear life because it was the only thing this show had that was mildly interesting for the audience. Expect for me. This season was shit from the beginning and I hate it when shit stuff tries to tie itself in with something that was actually good. In the end it didn’t do that, but why tf did they even include it in the first place!? It was literally only there as a callback. The final scene was just Danvers being interrogated like Rust was. Ok??? What’s the point of making that connection. Even with the idea of her losing a child and holding onto the grief. Isn’t that just rust again!?!? That’s not even a callback that’s just stealing ideas from another character that literally shares the same fucking show as this. So unbelievably unoriginal. Ugly camerawork and setting. God knows why they decided to make this season supernatural like this show wasn’t called “true” detective. It’s not October why are you doing this weird whitewalker ice zombie shit. A heaping pile of burning trash is what I’d describe this season as, and the fire will be out soon enough because I’ll forget about this in like 2 days.
