The critics were highly praising this season before it came out, I don’t think it was that good but it seems general audiences (especially on this app) seem to hate it, I don’t think it was that bad though, it was in between for me. I think the first episode was great and set up a really interesting mystery with a great setting and some cool characters, the last episode wrapped up things quite nicely, everything in between was a little boring. It felt like a whole lot of nothing happened, barely moved the main mystery forward with little character development, it was a little disappointing. Overall a solid season of TV, I feel like it did fit the True Detective vibe but it definitely fell a little flat.
