THIS WAS SO FUCKING BONKERS… First of all its so fucking camp and cute. I think them trying to blend in a government conspiracy into this is kind of insane because when you have the main character 4th wall breaking like crazy it’s bizarre. It’s like scenes of torture and abuse of power and then it cuts to lovers’ quarrels. Like wtf 💀💀 Like there’s so much to unpack here…Love triangles, lesbians and gays EVERYWHERE, grim depictions of eugenics, family drama, idol behavior, etc. like it has it all. If you can suspend your pretentiousness and just enjoy this for what it is you will love it. That’s not to say it’s bad cuz usually ppl say that when it’s bad, it’s just extremely all over the place aesthetically. You expect that with thai dramas but this was actually done pretty well unlike a lot of other dramas that try to do the same.
