1/10 (for first two eps) i’ve never felt compelled to write a review on why i dropped a show but this season just pisses me off. the way the show just doesn’t know how to write a protagonist is insane. there is not a single likable character in this, and usually, that’s not a problem. joe was never really a likable dude, but he was always interesting. he always had a goal, love. and seeing him work through his twisted ideal of love was the best part about this show. does he have this in season 3? fuck no. joe is by far the least likable character in what i watched. he seemingly has it all, sure, love is a bit psychotic, more than joe? no. if anything joe enables her psychotic nature. she kills natalie, why? cus joe is trying to cheat. he just comes across as such an asshole in this season, and sure, he’s always been like that, but it was subtle. you at least had to read in a little bit to be like “hey, this dude might not have good intentions.” now, subtlety is dead. the writers of this season fucking killed it with a blunt object.
