Another episode that gets distracted with the small town politics and character drama, gets to the final 15 minutes and remembers that there’s a mystery, then gets really interesting and ends on a tease of supernatural elements to come.
To be fair, this episode is probably the best balanced, but that’s not saying much. The tragic elements did hit, though, and I felt for these characters more than I have in prior episodes. There’s some nice elements to this show, but it’s lacking a cohesion that this kind of series depends on.
