Hannah and Dexter are my favorite couple of this show. Not only is she absolutely stunning, she’s the first woman Dexter has ever fallen in love with. People on here say what about Rita, what about Lumen. Dexter grew to love them but this is the first time he’s felt that true love. That unexplainable urge to be with them that doesn’t make any logical or rational sense. It’s the first time Dexter has felt chemistry

It’s also great because Dexter falling for Hannah proves Deb right. She tells Dexter that he is still human but he says he’s a monster. But he’s wrong, feeling that love for Hannah proves the dark passenger hasn’t erased all of his humanity. That his love for Hannah is so bright, the dark passenger can’t be seen

Dexter’s non reaction to Sal Price’s death is claimed to be out of character, but the show even now still knows what it’s doing. Any time before when Dexter went outside the code, Harry was there to go “na na na na na I told you so.” But Harry is gone once Sal Price dies, Dexter’s mind doesn’t care. That’s how strong the chemical reaction is to Hannah McKay

And the whole Deb phone call is setup for a fuckin awesome conflict
