City Hunter 2 is still a fun season with tons of cool action sequences but the strongest element is the deep focus on Ryo and Kaori's relationship, we get strong revelations with both of them and when there's stories on them, it's the greatest thing in the series especially in the 3 part season finale. What could've made the season better is if they cooled down on the crazy ass amount of 2 parters, so many rest they nearly take up the whole season. Most of these 2 parter episodes never feel special and could easily have been told in 1 episode stories. Making the season too long at times. But the 3nd half if this season got better within their usage of rhe 2 part format to great effect. The first half did it pretty mixey baggy. Still a fun season for this momkori franchise tho!
