This is hard for me to rate, I have no connection to the books or the movie at all, this was my first venture into Percy Jackson. I’d been told this series was aimed more for teens but it’s pretty much for kids, which is fine but maybe I’m too old now. I’ve seen some criticism of the actors but I think all the kids did find, they were pretty good leads to me. The issues came from the pacing, this show moves so quickly I honestly couldn’t keep up, they gave barley any time to breath or linger, it was right on to the next scene and that severely hindered my enjoyment. The plot is ok I guess, a bit boring, most of it was go here, speak to this guy, no go here and get this, and with terrible pacing that’s hard to watch. Will I watch season 2? probably lol
