i didn't pay attention to the subplots, it wasn't for me engaging enough to actually care about it, but the main plot countered it easy for me. frankin has acquired many characteristics in one season and hasn't lost his charm with his solicitous behavior. suffer, lies & betrayal have shown the back side of the coin, which comes with the business & also the evolvement of his surroundings, who had to make hard decisions, got influenced by our protagonist. it's really crazy were it got us at the end, considering how everything started, and i feel like that S1 franklin is a pretty underrated opening character.
