Oh another Terror….fan? I really like Terror S1 and I felt the exact same.

Agreed. Agreed. Don’t get me wrong, I ADORED The Terror: Infamy. It’s an extremely important part of purposefully forgotten (tragic) history. A true stain in American history if I’m being honest. S1 had a particular style that was fun to watch and did semi-formally introduce me to the Franklin Expedition (which I’ve only heard of). I got some books about it after watching. Love to see when colonialism fails, but I still feel sad about the loss of life (the junior officers and staff I mean).

Between TD:NC pilot and The Terror S1, I really love the slow pace and eerie feel. Honestly, the Alaskan setting and focus on Native characters also make this remind me of The Terror, but in a different way. Sorry for ranting, I just really loved the pilot. Reminds me I wanted to rewatch both Terror seasons actually hahah.
