I’ve seen some negative reviews on this and I don’t really get why, maybe it’s cause it’s not like season 1, which it never will be so it’s dumb to compare imo. I enjoyed it, not the best pilot ever but had the foundations of a good one, sets up a intriguing mystery, we meet the town and some of the quirky townsfolk, and we set up our 2 main characters, it was a little boring at times but not unbearable, I will say the main characters are a bit boring, I don’t mind the grumpy cop but 2 of them as both the leads as that trope is a bit much. Overall a great episode of TV, yes it’s not season 1 quality but nothing ever will be, that was lightning in a bottle
