A great homage to Scorsese’s After Hours! Throughout the whole episode I was mostly comparing the two,but after all, I think it’s the vibe that most relates to the film; the whole obscure plot happing during nighttime energy. To those who don’t know the film, this episode probably did not make much sense, but then again neither does the movie itself lol. 
Though it’s definitely not the best, this episode is hated on far too much. Beard finally got a much deserved episode that looks into his life. And it might be different than any other Ted lasso episode so far, but it was definitely a cinematic, funny, and emotional experience. 
And to anyone who hasn’t seen After Hours (the film) I recommend it !!
