Really weird episode you expect a buildup to like Charizard battle and training montage or something and like I fully was expecting Ash was just testing Charizard when he went all sad boy at the end and said he was gonna leave him behind but nope he REALLY just said "Who wants a weak Charizard anyways?" And cried and left Charizard behind so the writers could have an extra slot in his party for a weaker Pokemon. Wtf Edit: Just watched the third movie, at least the payoff of Charizard coming back for that one is pretty badass
