Faith in that outfit almost killing two people in the most horny way possible wow amazing television I forgot the rest. Insanely well done internal struggle with Faith. There are so many moments in this episode alone where you can Faith choosing another path, but she hates getting pushed around by people like this so much she just keeps going the other way. I can't remember if we get an in-depth backstory for Faith ever, but it's kind of amazing how much they tell just through her character writing and Eliza's performance. She clearly has never really had friends or anyone show real care towards her. It's either been abuse or betrayal and she believes everyone is like that even herself and Buffy and everyone that could possibly care about her. It's a really sad spiral honestly from an honest mistake for someone in her position. Does Faith actually think she's better than everyone or does she just have to believe that? Is she still the same person she was before becoming the slayer if she's not above others? Without power Faith feels helpless because she knows what it's like to not have power and she refuses to go back to that even if it means she's a bad person and nobody loves her. Poor Faith. Poor Willow even if it's honestly quite odd I still get it there's a weird relationship between those two. Even if she had fully accepted her and Xander weren't gonna be a thing it was still probably a shock to hear the person she imagined being her first and crushing on for so long randomly screwed a girl. Buffy and Giles are my favorite I love how he trusted her immediately. God what a good episode this season man FUCK. Also that cut to Angel with the bat was so funny to me idk why just the way it was done and the look on his face dude looked like Max Payne 1 motion comic cutscene art Angel in general rules this episode
