I love these girls and James so much 🫶 This has quickly become one of my comfort shows. Such a hilarious and heartwarming show about friendship and adolescence during the Troubles in Northern Ireland in the 90s. It’s so well written and acted, and it genuinely makes me laugh out loud which not many shows can do. Each of the characters are quirky and endearing in their own ways. Even the parents/family members are all interesting and well developed. The season 2 finale was perfect. I didn’t think this show would make me so emotional but I found myself tearing up when James chose to stay. Being a Derry girl is a state of mind! The only thing I’m upset about is the fact that there are only 6 episodes per season. I don’t want to binge season 3 bc it’s the last one and I’m too attached to these characters, I don’t want this show to end !!! Thank you for creating this masterpiece Lisa McGee <3
