The rating may come as a hot take, but I LOVED this season of the race. And although there maybe a tad bit of bias behind it, I feel as if we all have that one season we’ll back no matter what. As a huge hockey fan, seeing Bates on my screen not in an NHL uniform was interesting at first. It’s not everyday that former NHL players appear on reality television so that alone instantly drew me in. And the fact that they won, and somewhat dominantly too, made me adore this season. Is it slow at times? Absolutely.. The middle portion of this season tends to feel like it drags and especially after Drew and Connor had to leave the race.. Didn’t enjoy Joey & Megan at all and seeing John refuse to use the express pass was mind boggling to me. I still don’t think either team should’ve been named All Stars.. I don’t necessarily know if I’d be able to rewatch it again, but for a one time viewing, it’s very enjoyable!
