An all-timer season. It's crazy how much better they managed to make this show. It's even crazier that next season is far better. I really misunderstood Angela the on first watch. I saw her as this personalityless nothing character but she's so much more than that. She stands in direct contrast to Elliot while also struggling with the same things. She goes into full denial mode because of Kill Process and it's so sad seeing her continue sinking deeper and deeper into madness. I'm not ready for the opening scene next episode.

The side-characters and basically everything else were also improved. There was still some mid Dom stuff but outside of that this was perfect. Everyone had something to contribute to the season, and everything they contributed was amazing. Tyrell is still a standout for me. Just amazing acting man.

I love the sad and depressed vibe of this season. Usually shows will just lower the screen saturation to make it more miserable but this does the exact opposite. It makes everything look extremely colorful and bright while also being dark and gloomy. 3x1, 3x5, 3x8 and 3x6 are some of the best shot episodes I've ever seen. I especially love how they use this gloomy vibe for the characters. The characters go through some SHIT this season. With phase 2 going extremely wrong Elliot becomes suicidal, Angela goes insane, and things with Whiterose escalate causing both the kidnapping of Dom, Elliot, and Darlene and the death of Angela next season. It feels like there are real consequences moreso than most shows I've seen.
