Calma/Tormenta/Calma/Tormenta/Calma/Tormenta “The Pacific” es el relleno de ese sándwich delicioso llamado como La Santísima Trinidad Bélica de Spielberg y Hanks (situada perfectamente entre “Band of Brothers” y la futura “Masters of the Air”). Me encantó que le dieran más trasfondo tangible para cada uno de los soldados tanto dentro como fuera del campo de batalla, lo cual es una mejora significativa a la exposición que abundaba en su predecesora. El diseño de producción, las recreaciones de las batallas, determinadas actuaciones (como la de un desconocido Rami Malek) y la banda sonora compuesta, en parte, por Hans Zimmer son tremendas como HBO sabe hacer. Me gustó muchísimo esta miniserie Calm/Storm/Calm/Storm/Calm/Storm “The Pacific” is the filling of that delicious sandwich called The Spielberg and Hanks’ WWII Holy Trinity (situated perfectly between “Band of Brothers” and the upcoming “Masters of the Air”). I loved that they gave a more tangible backstory for each one of the soldiers both on and off the battlefield, which is a significant improvement over the exposition that was abundant in its predecessor. The production design, the battle recreations, certain performances (like that of an unknown Rami Malek) and the soundtrack composed, in part, by Hans Zimmer are tremendous as HBO knows how to do. I really liked this miniseries
