One of the most important shows ever. Its astounding to me that we get a kids cartoon that explores the massive scope and range of themes it does from the allegory of the 4 nations contributing to the socio-political commentary especially The Fire Nation as a dive into how totalitarianism indoctrinates its people leading them into not having their own sense of identity. This is all utilised in the form of Zuko its rare for a show to have a deuteroginist be better than the protagonist but it's just ridiculous how so easily he is the best character on the show.

Zuko is one of the best explorations of masculinity I've ever seen. The fact that he his entire life has also been indoctrinated with his pre determined destiny to capture the avatar and rule the 4 nations under a fascist state driven by anger and hatred but his character is angled to realize that he can come to terms with his own destiny and reject the flawed traditions that were set in stone for him and the difference between him and his sister Azula is the fact that he had proper guidance with Iroh who is one of the best side characters in TV. 

I just can't express how much fun I've had properly rewatching this easily the best western cartoon ever and a monumental achievement in animation period it helps to come with so many emotionally potent and tear jerking moments as well.
