A premise.
I saw this season last year when it come out,  but i want to do a review because the second season will be released next year.
The teaser trailer looks really promising btw.

This is the most underrated season in this community, few people talk about it.
For me it's a great first season, top 10 seasons one imo and very close to 5 stars.
Isn't at the level of the GOT first season, but it's better than many seasons one in tv.

The pacing is slow but still good, it's slow because compared to GOT there is less action but there is more political intrigues.

This season has not a bad episodes, the episodes are good or very good, so it's a consistent season.
The pilot is good because there are some important events for example the death of the King's son.
In the next eps there is one of the most important arc is Crabfeeder in the Stepstones, that scene with Daemon vs Crabfeeder and his army was amazing.
The best episode in this season is the lord of the tides (1x8), a great episode with an amazing peak ( Viserys entrance ).
The second best episode is the black queen (1x10), a great season finale and that scene with Aemond' dragon...

The characters in this are very interesting such as: Rhaenyra, Viserys, Daemon, Aemond, Otto, Alicent, Cole and Rhaenys.
The best character in this season is Viserys imo but Daemon probably in the next seasons will be the best.
Rhaenyra is a good protagonist and his development looks so good.
I loved the main dynamic between Viserys and Daemon, between king and prince.

After that season 8, we needed this tv show and it proved much better than expected.
House of the Dragon could become one of the best tv shows in the next years, let's hope that the next seasons will be great as this one or better.
