i feel like the shield is way to underground & deserves more attention for what it accomplished. alone for its diversity & themes that gets handled in the show, like racism, corruption, society abuse, family, drugs & power struggle, one of the most layered shows probably to that time. and i think it also makes a great job in being accurate to the real world, even how their interact with each other. vic mackey is a unique piece of character, the same goes to shane & for the whole team dynamic & as for the ending of the show…it still lets me thinking, even tho the meaning makes it clear, but the amount of depth let’s you sink in.
