I embarked on this Langdon adventure with high hopes, only to find myself in a mystery-solving maze of mediocrity. Ashley Zuckerman dons the tweed and glasses as our favorite Harvard symbologist, Robert Langdon. But hold on to your Da Vinci Code, folks, because this show left me with mixed feelings as puzzling as any of Langdon's riddles.
Firstly, Zuckerman's Langdon felt more like a lost tourist than a seasoned scholar, stumbling through plot twists like I stumble through a dark room without my glasses. While the show promised to unravel intriguing conspiracies, it often felt like I was watching a high-stakes game of Clue with too many suspects and not enough clues. The twists and turns were less exhilarating and more like a confused GPS constantly recalculating.
However, it wasn't all bad. The Lost Symbol did offer a few moments of genuine excitement, and the suspense kept me watching till the end. If you're a fan of watching Langdon's adventures even when they're more 'meh' than marvelous, give it a shot. Just don't expect the same magic as you'd find within the pages of Dan Brown's books. 📚🕯️🧩
