A brilliant exploration of human nature, morals, and religious beliefs that takes an abundant amount of inspiration from classical crime dramas and blends it with some great black comedy. Fargo offers a talented ensemble cast, some great twists, and creates a chilling atmosphere of Minnesota. The subtle camera movements and editing constantly remind you of the old style of filmmaking that Noah Hawley adopted so smoothly by combining his own skills, and it works just fine! The premise isn't really engaging on paper, but the slow pace, randomness of events, and strong characters makes up for it. I'm pausing this show for now, but I'm really looking forward to more of these “True Stories” of murders & ethics.
