Overall Rating (Episode Average)- 5/5 Started On: 11/17/23 Finished On: 11/17/23 i don’t even know where to begin with this show. like genuinely i can’t sing its praises enough. the animation is absolutely stunning. it was so smooth and detailed and just so pretty to look at. the writing is sharpe and witty, more so than the movie at some points. i love how the characters got to be more fleshed out in this, their old selves not being taken away, just added upon. the little call backs to the original were such a joy to see (i’m not gonna get over them not including all of Ramona’s teas but whatever). i don’t think a Scott Pilgrim reboot would work if they didn’t have the original cast. every single one of them plays their character so well that i just can’t imagine anyone else doing it. OH MY GOD AND DONT GET ME STARTED ON THE SOUNDTRACK. if anyone makes those songs tiktok famous i’m gonna be so disappointed (idk if that makes sense💀). if you haven’t seen this or the movie, stop wasting your time and watch it‼️‼️
