Afro-surrealism is one of the greatest things to happen in art, especially in cinema. I'm black and I like talking about the "economic state of the world" and so on but I really hate when they involve politics or black power movement in movies or shows. Not because I think art and politics can't mix, almost every art is political, like 90% of art is an artist's opinion on how the world should be. The reason I hate it is because it's never done right or it feels so forced. I think afro-surrealism is the best way to do it. It's fun, weird and beautiful but at the same time has an amazing message. I really love how afro-surrealism in cinema is becoming popular by each year. I Am Virgo is an amazing Afro-surreal show. It's unique and beautiful with a powerful message. Although I still think it could have been better in terms of writing and all but I truly appreciate the unique story.
