SAUL GOODMAN AND BETSY KETTLEMAN?!?!
It's a good pilot, the villain is really cool and I'm already enjoying what I think this protagonist will be. Nothing really blew me away about the episode though, I also just watched the movie so couldn't help but compare and this did nothing better than it in my opinion.
It was cool how even after the guy told Lester that he "took his first step towards becoming more of a man" he still couldn't fix the washing machine, something generally considered and he considers masculine/manly. It sort of shows that the mindset that this lifestyle makes him more of a man is a flawed one. At least that's my interpretation.
