i love everything this pilot has to offer, such great early 2000s vibes. not sure if i’ll keep watching right now but i’ll definitely come back!

this show has everything - awkward protagonist who can’t fight, a man described as a puppy-like swamp boy, plants that say “yippee!” and men that unironically talk to said plants, bad translations from japanese, stabbing, intense eye contact, thievery and blackmail, cooking, a beautiful love story.

this show really saves lucas and nathan heartfelt moments so they come around to sucker punch you… he got to play walkie talkies with his brother 😢😢
