I hope I'll be honored to see more peaks in the future, but this one will remain unforgettable. Many thanks for this masterpiece to the legendary author, Dostoevsky, a truly great writer, this is already his second work that has entered my soul. Such a complex and profound work touching upon the questions that are still relevant today about faith and unbelief, unity and disunity, justice and injustice and many other themes. Dostoevsky has a particularly keen understanding of man and digs deep into his depths exploring precisely these questions answering them through unimaginably brilliant dialogues. Plot, story, characters, dialogues, monologues, complexity, depth, psychology, philosophy, conflicts, themes - all of this, believe me, is simply at a high level! The text with a beautiful font above is Alyosha's speech at the stone. This monologue is the main message from the author, with this he conveys to us that we must be kind and honest, never forget about each other, stick together, because brotherhood will overcome all troubles, evil and suffering (situation with Ilyushechka). Overall, a beautiful message, and I completely agree with what the author wanted to convey to us. I will tell you in advance that you don't need to put an emphasis on which book is the best, because referring to this the book will not work that way, you just need to enjoy it all the time. But still, now I will show you which books I liked more: 5 > 12 > 11 > 10 >= 6 > 4 >= 9 > 8 >= 3 > 7 > 1 > 2 Book 5: yeah, not only i think so, but everyone else This one is really the best book in TBK, because this book is filled with philosophical depth, it gives a lot of food for thought. Main dynamic between two goats, complexity, themes, conflicts and much more (although it would take a long time to list them, you will understand later how incredibly rich it's in all other aspects) Book 12: If in book 5 there is an abundance of philosophical depth, then in book 12 there is a psychological. In book 12 the emphasis is not on characterization of main characters, it's where the culmination of the plot is reached, which author tried hard to achieve Book 11: I'm sure you'll like this book too, because the dynamic of Ivan/Smerdyakov was just incredible in it as were the characters themselves, especially Ivan who has another peak chapter in this book named "The devil. Ivan's Nightmare" Book 10: Of all the chapters, this one was the most enjoyable, because ofc KIDS. Book 4 was so enjoyable too because of Alyosha's journey, how he met the children and so he will meet them again in book 10 Book 6: this book is also filled with considerable depth, it has many messages from author and in general author has written Zosima very well Books 8-9: I'll tell you that they were VERY enjoyable to read, they were in favor of the Mitya's character, who is an enjoyable and relatable character I can't tell you anything about books 3 and 2, but they are rich in all sorts of soul-stirring quotes, Zosima is a separate GOAT there. Book 7: this book also gives us a little message that everyone has falls and even in them you can find the path to the light. Fav characters (I would really like to tell you about each character, but I'm afraid my review will be too long. I'll just tell you that all the characters are excellent and I have no complaints about their quality, because ofc DOSTOEVSKY himself wrote them) 1) Alyosha 2) Ivan 3) Mitya 4) Smerdyakov 5) Zosima 6) Kolya 7) Grushenka Fav dynamics: 1) Alyosha/Ivan 2) Ivan/Smerdyakov 3) Alyosha/Mitya 4) Alyosha/Zosima 5) Alyosha/Kolya 6) Alyosha/Grushenka
