Oof this is going to be a tough one to force myself through isn’t it…

Doctor Who (1963)

S04 E17 · The Highlanders (3)
*Listening to the audio soundtrack* This is less of a Jamie origin story and more of a story where he occasionally pops up…

Doctor Who (1963)

S04 E16 · The Highlanders (2)
*Listening to the audio soundtrack^ Troughton’s old lady walked so Pertwee’s old lady could run.

Doctor Who (1963)

S04 E02 · The Smugglers (2)
*Listening to the audio soundtrack* Somebody please tally up the number of times the Doctor is falsely accused of murder across the history of the show.

I can’t back any of these fish.

But… they were very right. How is all the Dong stuff getting so much hate but nobody is concerned about this??

Yikes, this show has such high highs and such low lows.

The ending was fun but I could leave the rest.

K-9 (2009)

S01 E21 · Robot Gladiators
This episode has a few reasonable moments but is mainly the usual tripe. I cannot believe how little effort they’ve put into differentiating Thorne from Blake.

Jacqui is a really nasty piece of work, and Clint is possibly… delusional? But even in spite of that, Ryan is absolutely vile here.

Everyone flip-flopping on whether Jacqui or Ryan is the problem when in reality, they’re just as horrific as each other and both desperately need the wake-up call that neither of them is going to give the other.

Why are the experts even there at this point?

K-9 (2009)

S01 E19 · The Custodians
With each episode, I’m more and more convinced that this show didn’t have a single penny of budget. I’ve never seen anything where it’s so painfully obvious.

The grip guy seems nice and I love that his work is cool and he loves it - but ‘it’s quite difficult to explain to people what I do’… are you sure?

The Simpsons (1989)

S22 E18 · The Great Simpsina
Episodes like this are the reason people say this show got crap.

I missed the entire context of what Veronica and Eliot were arguing about but can’t lie, feel like he needs someone as fierce as her. She may have taken things a bit too far for this particular incident, but it feels like this man has never had anyone stand up to him and BOY has it confused him that

I just personally think the whole ‘let’s circle back and see it from another character’s point of view’ only works if the storyline is interesting enough for you to WANT to see it from another point of view rather than to just GET ON WITH IT AND MOVE ON

Everyone else’s reactions to Jacqui and Ryan killed me off.

Listening to the audio recording. Woah, talk about whiplash. Loved the Doctor’s speech at the end, but the final scene was BIZARRE. I’d been so looking forward to seeing Anne picked up and learning why her name was altered, but no. Davies or Moffat would have turned her ancestry into some huge TARD

Doctor Who (2005)

E38 · Death is the Only Answer
This absolutely feels like Matt Smith acting lines written by children. Part of it’s inevitable but it does feel a little as though Smith’s not putting the usual effort in.

I miss Karen and Arthur…

Sorry, what? What’s with the sharks and the race track? This is BIZARRE.

The bubble transition really bothers me when they’re not even underwater…
