Actually enjoyed this episode even more than the pilot. I love the intrigue, the conspiracy, the fight for power. Finally, the bigger picture comes to light, which is basically colonialism of western powers, division of the world and their spheres of influence in the "undiscovered world". The assassination attempt scene was executed perfectly which makes me excited for the upcoming battles. Loved the tease of Toranaga's armour. I just know he's going to slay in it (literally and figuratively).
