way better than season 5’s flop, but did not stand out. best episode was the least on-the-nose (the Scottish one, I’m sorry I forgot the name) with the tech-dystopia themes. but i rly liked the creativity with the stories told in general. pretty mid-ish but not bad.
Episodes like this are exactly why we had to come up with the phrase ‘prestige TV’. The fact that this is also the directorial debut from the shows cinematographer, Jessica Lee Gagné (gotta show respect) is also insane. I hope I start seeing her name more frequently
Age gap trope hates to see this coming …. It was so good I had me yelling at the tv the whole season. I’m just a girl I’m sorry
Might need to fuck around and read the books to get the full lore wow
So much better than I remember, there’s so much more lawyer stuff than the other seasons but it works so well. The shows attention to detail is honeslty something else like every scene has had so much care in making them. I know everyone talks about how good bcs visual cinematography but it’s such a
don't know why they made this find it a bit weird tbh especially how Mindhunter showed good stories can be told without serial killers being at the center of it. Also sympathy card in first 2 eps kinda weird. Evan Peters was scary as fuck but again this show shouldn't have been made at all.
Gee, couldn't tell this was a Ryan Murphy show until he had two shirtless, murderous brothers hug each other.
I'm still not convinced by the "monsters" they picked for this season. Comparing Lyle and Erik with Jeffrey fucking Dahmer is borderline offensive.
adding inc**st fanfiction to a story about two brothers who suffered horrific abuse is diabolical absolutely sinister. and i need someone to take ryan murphy the fuck out
