i mean i suppose it’s an intriguing start…? still incredibly cheesy in its own niche kind of way, but as an introduction to the second season, it’s by no means bad, even with the gripes i have with it. and Steve Buscemi is just perfect; no questions asked.

Of course the train hits a tree... I love both these teams so much, can Brian, Michelle and Toby just be in every season?

the kettlemans really acting like there the victims? the scene with mike in the home is too iconic & jimmy realising that he just gave up his dream office was sad.

i guess it looked cool and stuff, but the issue is that i kinda just don't care, lol. like, everything just happened, i feel like i wasn't given time to care about or sit with anything don't have much to say tbh lol this was pretty anticlimactic

the vox commentary goes crazy its like a dad watching football

"This is starting to get good!" Took the words right out of my mouth, Angel. Still has a lot of issues but they're less noticable in the moment than most of the other episodes and there's a lot of interesting setup. Basically Season 1 just seems to be a rushed pilot for a hopefully extended Season

The musical numbers are definitely the highlight for me.

This shit was so good, oh my God. I've been waiting for this show to do something a bit more grounded and/or character based, and this episode fucking delivered. This had fucking amazing songs, stellar voice work, incredible animation, great character dynamics and an actually gripping plotline.

the first episode that i can say i really enjoyed?? angel is an interesting character and seeing his dynamic with husk and even how he acted towards himself change over the course of this. worth watching for sure!
