Strike two. Still baffled/frustrated/disappointed by the writing and dialogue with this storyline. Moments of seeming brilliance/interest/intrigue immediately get undercut and undone. Strange.

Incoherent justice from beyond the grave. Super weird, unnecessarily disturbing and just plain messy. Though it was nice to see Scully explain to Doggett that you have to accept the unexplained and move on...

Maybe a little less Kathy Griffin would help this woefully low-rated episode. Even a strong outing from Scully/Anderson couldn't save this almost unwatchable mess. As bad as they get? Quite possibly.
