Severance (2022)

S02 E02 · Goodbye, Mrs. Selvig
I don't know why but the Cold Harbour stuff seems meh to me. I dislike the idea of Marc being the center of a conspiracy instead of just a person working there. Also was hoping of more reveals from the other outies.

We all knoe SG1 wouldn't work without Daniel. Sha're being written off so nonchalantly felt a tad odd, but I admittedly did not care much about her and Daniel seldomly mentioned her when it wasn't an episode concerning her.

Stargate SG-1 (1997)

S03 E09 · Rules of Engagement
Really cool idea but again a very lackluster execution. The ending in particular felt very underwhelming.

So I finally finished Farscape. Well, there still is the movie but the normal show is done. But firstly let´s talk about the Fourth Season. Sadly this season was by far the weakest Farscape had to offer. This is even more depressing as it had Scorpius join the Main Crew and finally some episodes on

Reminds me of the breeding facility in Battlestar Galactica. This episode was less interesting to be honest. The alternate Moya stuff was only okay and the Aeryn torture scenes became uninterestinf relatively fast.

Farscape (1999)

S04 E16 · Bringing Home the Beacon
Not a great episode per se, but I like that we are focussing on the Peacekeeper Scarran conflict. A shame how little worldbuilding Farscape had.

Farscape (1999)

S04 E15 · Mental as Anything
This should have been in season 2 or 3 not after we dealt with Dargo's son. Overall most of the character driven plots we set up in the first sesson didn't really go anywhere.

Admittedly I expected more going into the third season of From. While I didn´t enjoy the show as much on my rewatch, I loved it the first time around. This season also started with a bang and got me excited to see if we´d get some revelations of what the monsters are or the overarching mystery. Whil

FROM (2022)

S03 E09 · Revelations: Chapter One
For the penultimate episode of the season, kind of mediocre. The Fatima baby story just isn´t grabbing me. It´s especially disappointing as the beginning with Tabitha being outside, Henry and Boyd wanting to be more aggressive against the monsters was a neat setup.

My theory is that some reincarnation or time-lapse stuff is going on. Henry and Jim seem so similar, the bracelet Tabitha found and Victor/Ethan sharing clothes, etc. If it´s something like that I´d be quite content with the direction they are heading. The episode itself was nothing to write home

FROM (2022)

S03 E07 · These Fragile Lives
I'm not the biggest fan of the Fatima plotline being the main plot of this season. Also, a bunch of characters hardly did stuff this time around. Jim wasn´t really present, Elgin just has his camera thingy and July is wandering about.

Probably the weakest of the episodes so far. But it also gives us a bit of breathing room. It also seems like some of the people who stayed with Viktor have become the monster if I got that right. The Victor Henry stuff stays consistently great tho.

I love the idea of incorporating Scorpius into the main crew. The Aeryn plot seems a tad iffy to me, but lets see where it goes. The idea of having to choose a captain now feels odd too.

The Highwayman stuff was quite nice. Beta vs Daryl was fun, but it's a shame that the whole Whisperer arc kind of falls flat without Rick and Carl. Thr communities being so divided doesn't help either.

On one hand, I´m happy Maggie didn´t decide that killing Gregory was bad there and then. On the other, the show depicts her as evil because she isn´t happy with the savior situation which is so excruciatingly stupid. Oh yeah, they are still threatening us and a bunch of them still want to get back

Farscape (1999)

S04 E04 · Lava's a Many Splendored Thing
Not a fan of the new Jool or the old woman which tries to be a stand in for Zhaan/Stark. Overall a decent episode, but after rewatching the pilot it's quite dissapointing that the main grpup only got worse as the show went on.

Farscape (1999)

S04 E02 · What Was Lost - Sacrifice (1)
Kind of interested if we get the origin of human and sebations. Not sure how I feel about the new main villain. But I really hope Scorpius becomes part of the crew.

While I am giving this the same rating as the first season this is a huge step in the right direction. The characters start to click and the overall sense of exploration of the galaxy makes this show feel unique. While the first season mostly relied on standalone episodes, the second season offers m

Just another mind swap, infection etc. Episode. The T'ealc O'neil stuff kind of saved it, but they are really overusing this kind of plot.

FROM (2022)

S02 E08 · Forest for the Trees
Interesting reveal with the sister, but most of the season felt like nothing happened. The show gets carried by its ambient well enough but decidedly weaker than the rest of the season.

This is arguably the weakest episode so far. It's not bad, but it still focuses on the town's people dealing with their situation. I don´t really care about the bully character, and nothing important happened here. From is kind of weird in being a genuine stellar watch for the first time, but rewa
