When this spinoff was announced I was unsure what more they could explore as we’d already seen quite a lot of Dexter’s childhood, but the flashbacks with Laura and Brian give so much more backstory and i’m loving it I also think the abductor plot with Miami Metro whilst Dexter stalks a new victim e

This episode nailed that classic catching a killer vibe, so funny to with Dexter at the end running I don’t remember Deb being a massive coke head in the og series, maybe I just have an awful memory 😭

I have to say, the fact that the show can create suspense even when you know that Dexter won't be found out is impressive. Unlike the original series, it's less about "will he be caught" and more about "how will he get away with it".
