i used to hate this episode, but it's so memorable, that i've found myself looking forward to it on a rewatch. like, honestly why wouldn't i want to watch mulder make out with a hot vampire lady?

This would be a pretty mid episode except that Mulder’s dynamics with these two random characters are SO GOOD. So fun to watch. Bring back Kristen and Unnamed Coroner 2k23 “You are really upsetting me, on several levels.” Best possible response to an unsettling Fox Mulder infodump.

This was another solid “Monster of the Week” episode. I’ve liked Perrey Reeves ever since I first saw her in Child’s Play 3, and she gives a great performance in this episode as Kristen.

Ummm you should be out there looking for your wife not chasing down vampires in L.A!? But at least we got to see Mulder wearing Scully’s necklace and sat on the grass looking at it longing 🙏 🙏
