I highly recommend The Godfather I and II to these good fellas

S1 and S2 are neck and neck, I like them both equally they’re both so good but I might lean slightly towards this season. I love this show man this season was so awesome better than I remember actually. Might not start S3 tonight but definitely tomorrow!

The finale episode of this season is crazy. I thought i've seen all moments from this season that i didn't expect at all but this last episode was EVERYTHING i didn't expect. THAT scene was brutal.

This is the most defining season of the show to me. When I think of the Sopranos I think of this moment in time first. Keeps that wonderful slowburn established in season 1 but organically builds upon all the elements established, revealing a much more lush and layered portrait of these characters.

Things feel somehow heavier AND lighter in this season. I think a big contributing factor is that this show allows for levity both through both traditional jokes and simply ridiculous moments. The balance of the laughable moments with the violence and drama is the true essence of Sopranos for me. An
